Iomega 250GB eGo Leather Hard Drive

Iomega has just released a 250GB leather-wrapped eGo hard drive for those who actually give a damn about carrying their data in style. This leather-clad USB-powered device will be able to hold 2.5" hard drives inside, featuring Iomega's very own DropGuard technology that protects the eGo Leather Drive from accidental damage caused by drops of up to 51 inches (129 cm). Working equally well with both Windows and Mac platforms, one must take note that the EMC Retrospect HD backup software will only function with Windows-based computers only. Too bad for Mac users, eh, but I suppose they have other attractive backup options that PC users miss out on. The 250GB Iomega eGo Portable Hard Drive will retail for $149.95 a pop.
