Optimus Popularis Mock-Up
May 20, 08 07:13 PM PDT

The good people at Art Lebedev are working on a new keyboard which carries the Optimus name, and this time it will be much smaller as shown above, with the codename Popularis. You won't find any OLED keys on this, as it will be used on an entirely different principle although they did not mention what we can expect. There are only two things we know - there will be 11 additional keys right above the F-keys, and it will cost below $1,000. With a price point capped at that limit, chances are this will be more than half a grand when available (circa 2015...I'm kidding, but judging by how long the Optimus keyboard took to come out...)
