Philips Xenium X800 e2e Official
May 14, 08 08:37 PM PDT

Philips has just launched its Xenium X800 e2e touch screen phone officially, and along the way let down a fair bit of people considering the design held quite a lot of promise. Apparently, it doesn't even support EDGE, so let's not even go to the matter of 3G connectivity. In addition, the 2 megapixel camera will certainly impress no one while a 2.9" display wouldn't allow it to even come near the iPhone. No idea on how much it costs nor when will it be released, but apparently word has it that this will be a China-only handset. Guess that bit of news certainly softens the blow somewhat of a design which could have been so much more.
