Samsung Ultra Definition LCD TV

Samsung will be exhibiting a new range of products at the Society for Information Display (SID) International Symposium, Seminar and Exhibition on May 18-23. This will be the place where the first 82" LCD TV with an ultra-high definition resolution will be unveiled to the rest of the world, boasting a whopping pixel count of 3,840 x 2,160 and a 120Hz refresh rate. Forget about high definition - ultra-definition (UD) resolution is where it's at, zooming along at 120 frames per second in order to minimize blurring that occurs sometimes at 60Hz. The inclusion of a red/green/blue LED backlight raises true color saturation to 150%. I wonder how much a TV like that will cost, and when will be the first media format to carry such high resolutions be released.
