There is just something about SpongeBob SquarePants that freaks me out, and this one definitely takes the cake. The Musical SpongeBob Digital Thermometer takes a mere nine seconds in order to get an accurate readout, featuring a large night light display for easy reading, last temperature recall, automatic shut down and a bite-resistant shield. No mercury is used when manufacturing this, so you can be sure there won't be any case of accidental poisoning happening. I sure as heck wouldn't want this stuffed up my rear end at the doctor's, only to have the SpongeBob SquarePants theme playing once my temperature has been taken.
