Sprint caps Unlimited Data Usage

Strange how an unlimited data package can still have a maximum limit, and this time round the culprit is Sprint. Once they're done with updating their Terms Of Service, mobile broadband data usage will be capped at 5GB from mid-July onwards. This is so not cool, and whoever passes the 5GB cap (or 300MB roaming cap) will be charged an extra fee which is in proportion to the amount of data downloaded subsequently. This new ruling will be applied to both network cards and tethering cell phones to laptops. Verizon already offers a 5GB "unlimited" data plan back in February, and it looks as though both Sprint and Verizon will need a new dictionary this Christmas to know the true meaning of unlimited.
