SSD Solution Gets Cheaper
Posted on May 27, 08 08:51 PM PDT

Installing a SSD drive in your notebook isn't exactly the cheapest way to upgrade the amount of storage space within, while USB flash drives might break off too easily and external hard drives are a pain to carry around. A-Data has a solution in the form of their 32GB USB-based ExpressCard SSD that can be stored in your notebook without adding any additional bulk. It is recommended to mount the "USB drive" into a sub-folder on your main hard drive, making it look as though there is an additional 32GB in the folder itself. Depending on your budget, you will be able to pick up the 16GB and 32GB models for $65.99 and $129.99, respectively.

When is someone going to release a pci-e version of these? I want an SSD for speed, not just an expensive storage medium!
