Sub Marine Catcher

You know those carnival games that you see at shopping malls? This claw game is definitely one of the creepiest, since you won't be able to pick up any soft toy or electronic device, but instead win a real life lobster instead. I wonder what the success rate is like, considering you'll need to snag a moving target that is slimy and slippery all at once. Should you actually achieve the impossible and grab one of these, the arcade manager will provide you with a plastic bag so that you don't have to wet your entire backpack toting it around. This claw game is located in Osaka, Japan, if you're curious to know where you can give it a shot.

We used to have one of these at the bar I DJ'd at in Boston. If you won, they would cook it up for you on the spot at no charge. Pretty sweet deal. Too bad that it's no longer there...

I just saw one of these in Superior, Colorado. It has a page long statement about how ethically the lobsters are treated that is taped to the side. They must have had complaints. $2 to play. No word on if they charge $20 to cook or not.
