Super Talent has just announced its DDR3 SO-DIMMs that target next generation laptops for superior performance. Known as the Super Talent 1GB DDR3-1333 SO-DIMM, it is capable of hitting (theoretical) transfer rates up to 10,664 MB/sec, which is approximately 66% higher bandwidth compared to DDR2-800 SO-DIMMs. Those statistics alone push Super Talent's latest offering to the top echelon, crowning it with the title of "the world's fastest production DDR3 SO-DIMM". Not only that, DDR3 SO-DIMMs sip just 1.5V compared to DDR2's 1.8V, resulting in less heat output and power savings of up to one-fifth. It won't cost you more than a Benjamin for one of these puppies.
