Tanita HS-301 Solar Digital Scale
May 5, 08 10:06 AM PDT

Since this digital scale is environmentally friendly by relying on solar power, what say you get healthy too after looking at those rather high numbers each time you step on the Tanita HS-301 Solar Digital Scale? Not only is the scale capable of drawing power from sunlight, it can also be powered by standard household light as well during the night, doing away with the need to purchase or recharge batteries. I suppose this will cost significantly more than a standard bathroom scale due to the fact that solar panels aren't cheap to manufacture, but it is nice to see more and more household items take a step in the right (green) direction.
