Twitter isn't just a microblogging tool that has gained quite a cult following, but it is also able to be hacked in order to control virtually any electrical device in your home simply by sending text messages to your Twitter account. Setup isn't too difficult, but you will need to know how to use this software that is in charge of all the controls. Who knew that Twitter could do this when it was released?
