VEIL Solar Shades
May 12, 08 09:24 AM PDT

What better way to enjoy summer than sip a cool beverage by the pool with a good book in hand? Of course, you will need to find some shaded relief as you do that, and the VEIL Solar Shades certainly fit the bill. This concept for Australian primary school yards involves solar panels that not only provide the necessary shade against sunburn, but has a solar panel on to to harvest the abundant solar energy in order to reduce costs. Each of these shades will feature broad, uni-directional panels surface which can be rotated accordingly to obtain the optimal position when facing the sun - too bad that still has to be done manually. Why can't street lamps of today do the same?
