Man, and I thought that skateboards were pretty much all alike all this while until I lay eyes on the Altered Pro Module 600 Wireless Electric Skateboard. Burning a $500 hole in your pocket if you want one, thisself-powered classic longboard (aren't they all - wait, you don't even need to sweat it out with this) is able to hit 19 mph from a standing start in just four seconds, boasting a maximum roaming range of up to 12 miles on a single charge. Needless to say, the heavier you weigh, the harder this thing has to work, resulting in a shortened battery life than stated. You have a trigger-based wireless remote to help you stay on board, controlling aspects of acceleration and braking.
