Antro Solo Goes Far On A Gallon

How does 150 miles-per-gallon sound to you? Sweet, right? The Antro Solo from Hungary breaks new ground with a 150 miles-per-gallon mileage, as it thrives on being a gas-electric hybrid. This is a three seater vehicle, and passenger seats are equipped with pedals for them to generate juice for the electric motor during the ride. Great to keep kids occupied during long road trips, making sure they are dog-tired after that to provide mom and dad some much needed peace. Solar panels located on the roof ensure you can go up to 25 miles without consuming a single drop of fuel. The Antro Solo is constructed solely from carbon fiber, which means it weighs a featherlight 270kg. I wonder how that will translate onto on-the-road physics as larger vehicles zoom pass it. With a top speed of 87mph, this is one bangin’ hybrid car to own. When will the real deal actually roll out?
