Yao Yi of China has come up with a lamp that illuminates using over 40 LED lights, making it way cooler compared to traditional bulbs. As for the lamp's shade, it is but a round balloon complete with a smiley face, where the face will enlarge or end up smaller depending on the inflation device which you control at your fancy. The bigger the balloon, the more light you'll get with an equally large smiley face. I can't help but wonder just how tough the balloon is, as I would love to give it a prick and scare whoever's allergic to exploding balloons.
