Eye-Control Device Prototype
Jun 26, 08 10:49 PM PDT

NTT DoCoMo's research & development labs are currently working on an eye-controlled MP3 player that isn't too flattering to look at at this point in time. Of course, that's because prototypes are just meant to get the thing going without worrying about design as that can come later. The current design features a large set of headphones that are able to adjust the volume based on where you roll your eyes, including switching tracks by moving your eyes from side to side. Chances are a gaming company in Japan will release an Eye Training track if this ever catches on. Heck, I can forsee future eye DJs hit the floor as well with this.

Wow! lol, i can forsee this causing eye problems for many folks down the road... not to mention that you will look absolutly insane walking down street and/ sitting on the training shifting your eyes left to right like you have some type of uncontrollable eye issue. Lol... but hey maybe like a million other gadgets that we use on a regular basis today that older generations looked at as being "mad science"/ crazy technology we will all get used to this and incorporate it into our rotation of everyday gadgets ;o)
