The Flybook V5 mini-notebook has finally made its way to the US a few months after hitting Europe, but one major obstacle stands in its way in the quest for market domination - the insanely high price tag of $3,000. Apparently the retail price has been set at such an astronomical amount due to the inclusion of Intel's Core 2 Duo ULV processor which places it within touching distance of the MacBook Air - another thin notebook that isn't cheap by any means either. In addition, features such as HSDPA/EDGE/GSM capability and a built-in 1.3 megapixel webcam makes this an attractive tool to have if you want to remain connected no matter where you are, while the touch swivel display is something novel to own.
