Fans of Madonna will rejoice with news that Sony Ericsson will be attaching music and mobile content from the Material Girl's latest album, "Hard Candy", to selected Sony Ericsson handsets across 27 countries. This range of handsets will come pre-loaded with either five tracks, or the full-fat album, and both with extra content such as wallpapers and ringtones. These special mobile music bundles can be found in the following countries - Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay and Venezuela. For those residing in Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway and Sweden, they can pick up the Sony Ericsson W890 Walkman phone that comes with a Hard Candy download voucher and a remix of hit track "4 Minutes". With the advent of digital music, I guess artists will have to reinvent themselves if they want to earn the big bucks, and tie ups such as this will definitely help them connect with the younger generation.
