Mitsubishi and NVIDIA Partner on Stereo 3D HDTVs

Mitsubishi and NVIDIA Partner on 3D TVs

You don’t know what to do with the 120hz that your Mitsubishi DLP supports? Well, don’t worry, they do know what to do with it and it’s called stereoscopic 3D. Select movies and video games can be rendered with optimum stereo “3D” quality (requires polarized glasses, I think). 3D Games not designed to be seen in stereo can also be “converted”, thanks to a special driver that will capture all the 3D commands and duplicate them for two-eyes rendering (left+right). When converted, glitches can happen, especially with 2D game components such as “sprites” often used to display user-interface and player information. The following Mitsubishi DLP models are 3D ready: WD-60735, WD-65735, WD-73735, WD-65736, WD-73736, WD-65835, WD-73835.
