Noise Canceling Speakers in Toyota Crown Hybrid

Anyone who sat in a premium luxury sedan before will know that the cabin in there is whisper quiet, thanks to the engineers who ensure that there is an optimal amount of sound insulation against the outside world. After all, folks who can afford such rides often need a quiet place to think on their travels, planning the next business move. Toyota aims to make that lofty standard affordable to everyday Joes with their new Crown Hybrid, delivering low rpms (max. of 3,000) whenever the vehicle does not exceed 25 mph. The car itself features a trio of microphones to detect muffled noise, letting the active noise control system handle that by generating antiphase signals from the speakers as a counter measure to further enhance the quietness by up to 8dB. Time to start looking at a Toyota for the next purchase, aye?
