Panasonic's latest Blu-ray player, the DMP-BD50 will definitely find no problems whatsoever in the middle of any decent living room entertainment system. Recently released in the US, it has finally arrived in the UK offering Blu-ray Profile 2.0, full HD playback at 1080p image quality, lossless Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio with full 7.1 channel surround sound in addition to Picture-in-Picture applications. The inclusion of BD-Live function also helps enhance the media and interactive experiences when you're watching a movie, so it looks as though this summer will be a bangin' one if you happen to snag one of these.
