Project GreenJet

The watercraft do not really get that much coverage, but our friends at Gizmag has a piece on Project GreenJet - the modern day equivalent of a jet aircraft that traverses the seven seas, built on the automated functionality of Erik Sifrer’s highly-acclaimed 36 metre SY120 concept with the addition of a grander 57 metre scale. In addition, it utilizes automated systems controlling non-conventional sails that shows a glimpse of what the future of sailing would be like. The whole idea is to come up with a superyacht that can be sailed by one man using but a touchscreen. Needless to say, the person who mans it will need to have knowledge about the seas.
