The SATA/CF/IDE to USB 2.0 Bridge Adapter allows ever greater flexibility to your computing needs, letting you connect an IDE or SATA hard drive to your computer via USB. This is definitely extremely convenient since there are no pesky PC casings to pry open, making it a snap to transfer files from a computer or notebook to hard drives in an instant. Of course, being tethered to USB 2.0, you have a theoretical speed cap of 480Mbps during data transfer, but that's besides the point. The whole idea behind this $22 gadget is convenience for the end user.
