SoftBank to offer 3G iPhone in Japan
Posted on Jun 4, 08 05:39 PM PDT

While Japan might be looked over where the vanilla iPhone is concerned, SoftBank has just struck a deal with Apple to offer the 3G iPhone later this year. Talk about taking a long time to reach an agreement - talks between the two have opened since May a couple of years ago, but good to see (and know) that they have finally decided on the respective terms and conditions that are deemed fair to every one. Apple had also been caught holding talks with NTT DoCoMo, although nothing concrete has been established, we cannot rule out other mobile carriers as well.
