I'm not sure whether scrapping the entire sport known as golf altogether would be a better idea when it comes to keeping the world green, and not minor efforts such as a solar-powered Golf Cart that we see here. Apparently this electric golf cart is endowed with 72 photovoltaic cells built right into the roof, collecting solar energy to provide up to 33% more range between recharges compared to its non-solar electric companions.Features include rack and pinion steering, leaf springs, heavy shock suspension, and a built-in speed controller. I suppose you need to be of some stature in life if you happen to indulge in golf, but owning one of these Solar-powered Golf Carts would certainly mean you have arrived considering the hefty $9,000 price tag. Better make sure you drive a Prius and not a gas guzzler then.
