Virgin Mobile and Kyocera Team Up

Both Virgin Mobile USA and Kyocera Wireless have formed a pact, where 15,000 customers who pick up a Virgin Mobile Festival Special Edition Wild Card phone by Kyocera Wireless will be able to gain access to the Virgin Mobile Guest Lounge at the upcoming Virgin Mobile Festival on August 9-10 in Baltimore. All you need to do is flash your spanking new handset in order to be admitted to the special guest area. This Special Edition Wild Card handset will be on sale from May 25 till July 31 from both Best But and Best Buy Mobile stores for $99.99 a pop, and each purchase is accompanied by 50 music downloads from eMusic and a one-year subscription to SPIN Magazine. I wonder if anyone can purchase an ordinary Wild Card phone and trick it out to resemble a special edition...
