Vudu gets Wireless
Posted on Jun 5, 08 10:47 AM PDT

Vudu will be taking the wireless route with its new plug-and-play VUDU Wireless Kit. What this kit does is create a wireless network that enables the video download service to be used anywhere in the home. It isn't compatible with Draft-N wireless though, maxing out at 802.11g. The entire range of Vudu functions will be supported via WiFi, including instant-on for HD content but that depends largely on the bandwidth you have. Those who are interested can pick up the Vudu Wireless Kit for $79. Check out our Vudu review to know more about the system.
