Asus Cans ZX1 Lamborghini Smartphone

Word has it that Asus will be throwing in the towel for the upcoming Asus ZX1 Lamborghini smartphone, since the phone seems to be taking forever to roll out long after its announcement, lending credibility to this rumor. One of the main reasons for the cancellation would be to enable Asus to concentrate on more important products that are on track to roll out before the year is over - I'm betting my bottom dollar that some of these will include yet more additions to the Eee brand name. What do you think - should Asus go ahead at let the ZX1 sputter and suffer from engine problems, or should they just rev up the entire department to release a glorious handset?
