Buffalo Solar-powered Keyboard
Jul 9, 08 09:31 AM PDT

I don't know how many of you are nuts enough to work under the blazing sun, but Buffalo thinks that there are enough numbers to warrant the manufacturing of this solar-powered wireless keyboard. I guess normal sunlight through the windows into the room ought to be sufficient to keep it powered, but I have absolutely no idea just how long the battery will last before it needs to head out under the sun again. Hopefully the plastics used to manufacture this keyboard are durable enough to withstand the unforgiving rays of the sun. Not recommended for those who love to work late into the night.

At first I thought this was a great idea. Afterall, MY company imports unique office products and this might have potential (www.NPSG.com).
But then I realized that no one was going to lug their PC out into the park to recharge their keyboard. Hell, my office has no windows at all. NOW WHAT?!?!?
Gonna pass on the Solar Powered Keyboard...
