Eee PC 900 Rebate

Asus is offering a $100 rebate for folks who have picked up an Eee PC 900 between today and July 31st, but this offer is good only from participating retailers such as Amazon and ZaReason. The whole point to this exercise is the inclusion of Intel's new Atom processor in the Eee PC 900 that replaces the previous Intel Celeron 900MHz processor. So how does a $449 Eee PC 900 sound to you, considering the fact that it has been around only for a few months before experiencing a (nearly) 20% price cut? After all, the Celeron chip is decent enough to run basic office tasks like word processing and number crunching with the occasional Web-based game thrown in.
