Hands-On with the Nokia Evolve 3110 Eco-Friendly Phone
Posted on Jul 8, 08 05:55 PM PDT

The Nokia Evolve targets consumers who want an environmentally sensitive, easy-to-use phone, with an average feature set. Thanks to its focus on its (somewhat) eco-friendly materials, the Nokia Evolve 3110 might just fit the bill. Not surprisingly, it has basic features such Camera, 2.5G, FM Radio and Micro-SD memory card. That all work fairly well, especially the FM radio. The user interface is simple as other popular Nokia entry-level phones and we expect users to find their marks quickly. There’s one thing however that we found particularly annoying: There’s (apparently) no way to prevent the keyboard from locking itself after 3.5s of inactivity. The bottom-line is that you would probably pick this one up because it’s eco-friendly - it’s hard to see another reason to get one.
