iPhone Rumored To Launch In India
Jul 24, 08 08:35 PM PDT

Rumor has it that Apple's iPhone 3G will be launched in the Indian market late August or early September through Vodafone and Airtel. Speculation has it that the Indian iPhone will have mostly the same software as its US counterpart, however some features will be customized to match Indian tariffs and the 8GB will be the only model available for the launch. The iPhone is also rumored to be priced between Rs 11,500 and Rs 12,000. Without 3G availability and an official announcement, this could very well stay a rumor.
