iRiver W7 Gets Price Cut
Posted on Jul 30, 08 07:32 PM PDT

The iRiver W7 is currently available in China and Korea only, and it has just received a price cut. All in all, this is a decent portable media player (PMP) that brings together the benefits of a stylus-based touch screen display and a joystick. Shame it isn't being offered in other territories, as it would've made for a much better purchase compared to those other knock offs. The W7 has just received a 300-yuan price cut, which means it is now categorized under the $300 segment - only just. Just in case you don't know what you're getting for $293, the W7 will come with a 3" 480 x 272 display, WMV, AVI, SWF, MP3 and WMA support, 8GB of internal memory and a microSD memory card slot.
