Lexar JumpDrive Solo Vault
Posted on Jul 24, 08 07:50 PM PDT

Lexar's new JumpDrive Solo Vault comes with FIPS validation, making it certified to meets the requirements of the Federal Information Processing Standard 140-2 Level 1 standards. It also comes with 256-bit AES encryption so that there isn't any need for central management to encrypt and protect data right out of the box. Interesting features include an idle time out, 32-bit long passwords, and a FIPS approved application for deleting files. If you're someone who carries plenty of sensitive information on your USB flash drive from the organization to home and back, it would be wise to ask your superior for some financial allocation to pick up the Lexar JumpDrive Solo Vault for your department.
