MSI Eco-Friendly Motherboard
Posted on Jul 10, 08 08:16 AM PDT

MSI spares a thought for mother nature with the new eco-friendly motherboard known as the Wind Board. It offers a passive cooling system design, doing away with the need for a fan while practically reducing the noise level to 0dB. Perfect for folks who love to leave their computers turned on the entire day long, and it is able to save up to 80% of power compared to a 250W desktop computer when left on for 24 hours. When idle, the Wind Board consumes less than 10% of what a general desktop computer does. Features include compatibility with 533MHz FSB and DDR2-667 memory of up to 2GB in addition to the Intel 945GC chipset.
