Panasonic SDHC in new Capacities
Posted on Jul 21, 08 07:07 PM PDT

I guess we've been indoctrinated long enough with the idea that memory cards should come in double the quantity always, hence these new SDHC cards from Panasonic defy convention by being available in 6GB and 12GB storage capacities - something different since we don't have 3GB SDHC cards to begin with. Available in Class 4 specification, these are meant for use with High Definition camcorders, capable of recording anywhere from 90 minutes (6GB) up to 180 minutes (12GB) of 1,920 x 1,080 full HD content without missing a beat. Of course, selecting a lower recording resolution would mean you are able to record for longer periods of time. No idea on pricing as at press time though.
