Roberts Solar DAB Radio
Posted on Jul 1, 08 05:43 PM PDT

Roberts has unleased the Solar DAB radio which is touted to be the first solar-powered DAB radio in the world. It is amazing it took that long for something like this to surface, but better late than never, I say. This radio is equipped with a solar panel that can be used to power the radio directly assuming the sunlight is strong enough (just in time for a summer release, I say), or you can always use the nearest power outlet. The internal battery is able to run up to 27 hours before it requires a recharge. This Roberts Solar DAB radio tunes to bands III and L, boasts a white backlit LCD display and a line-in jack in addition to the headphone socket. It will retail for £79.99 and comes in black, white, pink, red, and green colors.
