Rock Band 2 Details Emerge

Rock Band 2 looks set to be a runaway winner with these new developments emerging. There will be two drum sets you can purchase for the game which adds way more flavor and variety, although it might be too much of a financial burden for non-working gamers. In addition to the standard drum set, Harmonix will be releasing a limited edition Ion Drum Set that can even double up as a standalone drum kit when left unplugged and used separately from the game, which pretty much ensures an insanely high price for a video game peripheral (if you look at it from that perspective, of course). Other updates include confirmed artists such as Avenged Sevenfold, Billy Idol, Social Distortion, and Rage Against the Machine among others. Backwards compatibility with songs from the original Rock Band game will be included.
