Samsung Series 8 LCD HDTV

Samsung's new range of LCD HDTVs, known as the Series 8 will aim to bring both form and function into a single device. Measuring a mere 1.9" wide at the thickest point, all these models will come with the following features :-

• Full 1080p resolution
• 120Hz refresh rates
• 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio
• SRS TruSurround XT audio
• Four HDMI-CEC ports
• Dual component input
• S-Video
• PC input
• Ethernet connection
• USB connectivity

The 46" and 52" models fom the 850 range will retail for $2,699.99 and $3,399.99, respectively, while those opting for the 860 range will have to fork out an extra $100 for the corresponding screen size.
