And you thought that LCD displays are meant to show off images in stunning color and detail only - Recruit Co. Ltd. from Japan is currently rolling advertising videos for the cafes and restaurants in the underground mall of Tokyo Station by utilizing the new Scent-emitting LCD Display System. This system will not only display the relevant images and video, but also co-ordinates that with appetizing aromas that complement the current advertising. All videos are shown on a 42" LCD display, and there is a coupon book which can be used at restaurants which have advertised using this system. Man, guess taking a walk in the underground mall there will be an even hungrier experience if you've arrived there without eating something prior.
