Taijia Lok 860S Portable Media Player

In the world of portable handheld gaming, there isn't much choice between the PSP and DS Lite, with the latter taking the lead worldwide despite its inferior hardware. This goes to show just how important software is, which partly explains why the iPhone, despite the lesser specifications compared to other smartphones, has taken the world by storm. The Taijia Lok 860S device is unassuming that looks somewhat like a PSP, albeit with way more angles than curves. You get a 2.8" display (small compared to the PSP), a 2 megapixel camera that does video recording, AV/out Line-in, a USB port, a microphone and a miniSD memory card slot. It will come in 1GB and 2GB models that retail for $58 and $73, respectively. Don't expect to play state-of-the-art games with this one, but to relive old days of 8-bit gaming instead.
