This person who created this Mowercycle must feel that the cost of gas is way too high at the moment. Instead of using those motor lawn mowers, why not try this as it's most certainly environmentally friendly; and it's powered by the user's own sweat (kind of). To be honest, this looks easy enough to build on a lazy Sunday afternoon, so maybe it'd be worth it to give it a try and see how things turn out. Wonder if this mowercycle has gears though.
