If there ever was a long product name, the TRENDnet Dual Band Wireless N Gigabit Router would definitely be one of them. This new networking device allows one to experience the speeds and thrills of running 802.11n Wi-Fi on the faster but less compatible 5GHz band in addition to the tried-and-tested 2.4GHz band. A trio of MIMO (Multiple In, Multiple Out) antennas are able to carry data at theoretical speeds of up to 300Mbps, boasting a connectivity range of up to half a dozen times that of a standard 802.11g network. I'm not too sure about real world applications, with all the concrete around, could we see a doubling in range at best? Well, the TRENDnet Dual Band Wireless N Gigabit Router will retail for approximately $160.
