Virgin Mobile has just released the UTStarcom Arc, yet another entry level handset for the masses. You get the following :-

Surely $49.99 isn't too much to ask for a basic phone such as this?

I purchased one of these phones and I'm surprised to find it's a decent quality phone. Not what you would expect for a lower end pre-pay phone.
