Windows 3.11 Bites the Dust

At long last, the venerable Windows 3.11 operating system will officially be put to rest four months after Windows XP is removed from the consumer market. Yes, that would mean that Windows 3.11 has been around for a good 15 years, and the secret of its longevity lies in the fact that it is used in a countless number of low-horsepower platforms such as cash registers and train schedule displays. No love lost there as the world aims to come to grips with to a world filled with Windows Vista.
