Windows Mobile Licenses up 80%

Microsoft might not be in the spotlight with Windows Mobile these days, but it doesn’t mean that they can’t sell licenses. In fact Windows Mobile has shown a growth of 81% when compared to last year and it is likely going to continue growing. And sure, Windows Mobile is a little slow and not finger friendly and most devices still have a 320x240, but it’s not like phone makers like HTC (site) have tons of choices: Android isn’t ready yet, is cheaper for enterprises than Blackberry and Symbian is interesting but not so enterprise friendly. Also, Windows Mobile is supported by awesome designs from HTC or recently Sony Ericsson (XPERIA). To be honest I have good memories from my Samsung Blackjack.
