Xbox 360 Gets Price Cut in Australia
Posted on Jul 2, 08 07:46 AM PDT

Our friends down under can smile now that they're getting a price cut from Microsoft for the Xbox 360 console, making it the cheapest next-generation console in that region. I wonder when will we drop the 'next gen' tag and get on with the times, calling it current gen. The new price points are $349, $499 and $649 for the Xbox 360 Arcade, Xbox 360 Pro and Xbox 360 Elite, respectively. Prices quoted are in Australian dollars, but judging by how the US dollar is free falling these days, it is almost on par with the greenback.
