Acer Aspire One Gets RAM And More

We sure have come a long way since the Asus Eee PC was introduced, and avid modders have taken pains to make sure every single square inch of these new netbooks are utilized. Take the Acer Aspire One for instance - Tnkgrl has decided to open it up and throw in a RAM upgrade along with Bluetooth connectivity, where the latter is almost the same process as the Eee PC's. You will need to connect a micro USB Bluetooth module to a 5V trace, a ground trace near it, and USB signals which are available on the mini PCIe card slot where the Wi-Fi card currently sits. This Bluetooth module is not in its original form since it was stripped and wrapped in Kapton tape. You'll definitely void your warranty with this mod, but think about the possibilities to sync your phone with the Aspire One wirelessly!
