Acer Aspire One Price Drop
Posted on Aug 22, 08 09:20 AM PDT

Acer has dropped the Aspire One price today, touching an even more affordable $329 from the original $379 price point. This new pricing structure makes the Aspire One as one of the cheapest netbooks that is powered by Intel's new Atom 1.6GHz processor. The higher-end models have also seen a similar $50 cut in pricing, touching $349 from $399. Acer will also roll out a new 160GB model with a 6-cell battery at the previous $399 price point. I must say that $329 places the Aspire One under the impulse purchase territory, and at this point in time, it looks like the best bang-for-your-buck combo unless the other manufacturers take a similar aggresive approach.
