Assemble Your Own Pen

If you thought the point of buying things off the shelf was to make life easier for you, think again. If you’re really into DIY, the Falter 2D pen will surely make you work to have a functional pen. The “assembly kit” even comes with a flat piece of iron that you’ll fold into a pen holder, probably using the bundled tool to help you bend the metal. At $39, it’s said to be handmade in Italy, though it’s quite obvious that you’ll have to apply the finishing touches to the pen yourself.
